What this audit tests

We compare every called player with active alternatives at the same position. We begin with club minutes and starts, then consider competition level, position-specific performance and youth potential.

A youth project can be a valid coaching choice. Calling several reserves while stronger, regularly playing alternatives are available is a different claim, and one the data can test.

RPIX is the comparison tool, not the verdict. National-team results are shown separately and never increase a player's club-season score.

Readiness

The immediate pre-camp signal from the last five known club matches: minutes, starts, freshness and known availability.

Selection signal

60% RPIX + 40% Readiness. It compares alternatives only inside the same position group and preserves the coach’s squad shape.

Two calculations: the headline agreement percentage uses the position-matched RPIX squad only. The detailed player comparisons then add pre-camp Readiness through the 60/40 selection signal.

How it is calculated

7 of the 26 players called up are also in the RPIX squad. 19 players RPIX would have called up were left out. RPIX does not know injuries, tactics or other reasons a coach may have.

Formula: 7 ÷ 26 × 100 = 27%.
